Oh what a wonderful day it is when you see the kids you have taught for 180 days on the bus and all the teachers outside waving at their children saying "Goodbye"!! I might have screamed when I saw the last bus pull off. It is such a great feeling when you have another year done and a summer to reflect...LOL! In case any of you don't know, teachers need two months to recuperate from the 10 months of school. I can only imagine what life would be like to teach kids for longer than 10 months. Lets just say I would be visiting a therapist on the regular.
Anywho!! It's been a great year over all. I can't complain too much. They scored very well on the EOG's. I was very pleased with that. Thanks to all for your prayers! Every year I learn something new about my job, how to do things differently, and most of all God teaches me to trust him more. I am so honored to do this job, and I appreciates God's gifts he has given to me to make this job enjoyable.
The Adventures Team 2007-2008Well, my summer officially starts on Friday. We are having teacher workdays until then. I will be going to the beach on MONDAY!! I'm so ready for that and am looking forward to a fun time!! I want to give a shot out to Teray and Monica...this time last year we were at the beach and girls I miss yall!!!!!!!! I'm sure the beach will not be the same without you.
I will be in touch throughout the summer filling you all in on what's going on in Tiana's world. I have my mission trip coming up in July and my volleyball camp toward the end of July. I'm excited about my time off and plan to get plenty of rest. Who knows what's next!!!
